The Z1 is worn on the legs rather than at the hips, with a powered joint at each knee. Dnsys sells it as the Dual Joint, with one Plus Battery, and the Dual Joint Pro, with two batteries and titanium alloy parts[1]. Dnsys’s knee-load figures are marketing claims with no published test method, and we list them as such.
Check before you order
- The Z1 isn’t listed in Dnsys’s warranty table[2]. Ask what warranty applies before you order.
- The return policy’s no-return exception names the X1 Carbon Pro. Ask whether the Z1 Dual Joint Pro is treated the same way.
- Dnsys says the X1 Smart Battery Kit is not compatible with the Z1 series, including its battery and charging dock[3].
- Dnsys publishes fit ranges for height, body weight, waist and leg size; compare them with your own measurements before ordering.
