Hypershell now marks the X Ultra as discontinued, though its US page still shows a lower price than the X Ultra S. Their headline power and range figures match; their boxes differ, and their weight figures use different bases.

What Hypershell says changed
Hypershell says the S models have an upgraded soft wearing system, with redesigned padding it credits with 22% more support[2]. Its New X Series FAQ describes a new control system it calls HyperIntuition and explains the weight change: earlier models list net weight, while the S models list wearing weight, which includes the main structure, the soft pack and one battery[3].
What’s in the box
The X Ultra S ships with two Anti-Cold Batteries, a 65 W charger and the 4-port charging hub[2, 3]. The X Ultra’s box lists two batteries but no charger; its page offers a free 65 W charger only as a limited-time promotion[1].
What we couldn’t check
The X Ultra’s page doesn’t state torque, top assisted pace or operating temperature, and its battery capacity and water rating appear only in the page’s comparison table. Its purchase area reads both “Sold out” and “In stock”[1]. Returns and warranty don’t differ by model: see the X Ultra S page.
